VPS S and VPS M get one public IPv6 address and no IPv4 address. Visitors, players and services on networks that only use IPv4 can't connect to them directly. VPS L includes a dedicated IPv4 address as well as IPv6. Outgoing connections still work to services that only have IPv4 (for example GitHub): IPv6-only plans use DNS64 resolvers and we translate that traffic through a shared IPv4 address (NAT64). Email ports 25, 465 and 587 stay blocked.
For websites, put your domain behind Cloudflare's proxy: Cloudflare accepts visitors over IPv4 and IPv6 and connects to your VPS over IPv6. For game servers or other non-web services that IPv4-only players need to reach, choose VPS L, which includes a dedicated IPv4 address.
No. Every plan uses shared vCPUs: processor time on the host is shared between the virtual servers running on it. Sustained use that affects other customers may be limited, as set out in the acceptable use policy.
No. Snapshots and backups are your responsibility. Keep copies of anything important somewhere other than the VPS, especially before you rebuild or reinstall it.
Each VPS has power controls, a browser console, rebuild and reinstall, and rescue mode. Vestra Console also manages your Vestra game servers and billing.
