Use the GMod dedicated-server build (Steam app 4020). Check the chosen branch and any native modules against the host runtime.
Create your own Steam Game Server Login Token. Keep it in protected server configuration, not a public checklist or support attachment.
Choose a gamemode, map and curated Workshop collection. Check addon licences and any separately required mounted game content.

When to review your plan

Sustained memory pressure or addon/map storage growth: review Enterprise or storage options with support.
Tick-time spikes during busy sessions: profile Lua, entities and addons first; extra RAM alone may leave the cause unchanged.

Which plan do I need for a Garry's Mod server?

Pro (£9.99/month) is our suggested starting point for a community gamemode, because it leaves more room than Starter for maps and addon content. Tiny (£1.99/month) is aimed at a development server or a server with friends. Profile your gamemode before committing to a public player cap.

Do I need a Steam Game Server Login Token?

Yes, create your own Steam Game Server Login Token (GSLT) and keep it in protected server configuration. Never paste it into a support message.

How do I add addons and maps?

Use the panel's Files page for small changes, or SFTP with a client such as FileZilla or WinSCP for large uploads. Add Workshop content in small batches and check dependencies as you go.

How quickly is my server set up?

Once payment goes through in billing, your server is set up automatically. When it's ready it appears in the panel at dash.vestra.systems, where you sign in with Vestra Passport.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are billed monthly in GBP and renew automatically until you cancel in billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and your server keeps running until then.
